IMAGINE cause billions can’t
Those words were spray-painted across the side of a giant rusted tank in a field of a farm somewhere near Excelsior and the 41 in the middle of the San Joaquin Valley of California on an autumn day driving back from seeing my family for the Thanksgiving weekend.
At the time, I was amused by the comment on display, better than “Food Grows Where Water Flows” or “Congress Created Dust Bowl,” but then there was the radiant sunset and the damp Tule fog creeping below. It was so picturesque! – INDEED we must imagine! Have curiosity and wonder!
Some people choose not to pursue knowledge, creative thinking, appreciate the arts, read, write, or WORSE, there are so many people who CANNOT! Due to their government, geological location, educational systems, and more.
It is more than just “Thinking ‘Outside’ the Box” – Yes! Creative problem solving. It helps with emotional processing, communication, and stress relief. Even memory, cognitive skills, social connections, communities, just to list a few more. It is so valuable. Just a little can change someone’s perspective of the world.
Use your imagination cause over a billion can’t!
